After graduating from Henderson State University in 2009 with Summa Cum Laude honors, Rebecca went on to attend law school at UALR William H. Bowen School of Law. She was admitted to practice law in Arkansas in September 2012.
Rebecca always wanted to be a lawyer who represents and helps clients who do not have their own voice in the legal system. She thought that meant helping juveniles, but during her time in law school she saw that children are not the only people who can’t speak up for themselves in court. Those who can’t afford counsel deserve to be heard and also deserve high quality representation.
For the last several years, Rebecca dedicated herself to practicing law at the Pulaski County Public Defender’s Office, where she provided a high quality defense to all of her clients. Her passion and belief in top notch representation for everyone, no matter their income, directly correlates to Leigh Law’s motto of providing outstanding representation at affordable rates.
Rebecca’s current practice areas are family, probate, and criminal law.
Although Rebecca was not born in Arkansas, she considers herself an Arkansan through and through. She is proud to be a Hogs fan and proud to grow her family here.
She lives in west Little Rock with her lawyer husband (James), 2 daughters (Evelynn and Vivian), and 2 fur babies (Zoe and Daisy). She loves movies and sports, baseball in particular, and is an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Astros.
Rebecca is a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyer’s Association and the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
